Petroleum coke
Unicoal is an Italian leader in the sector of green delayed petroleum coke. It operates jointly with its US Partner and main supplier “TCP Petcoke Corporation”, a world leader.
Unicoal SpA which handles, distributes and sells about one million metric tons of petroleum coke per year is in fact a reference point for Italian cement manufacturers.
Unicoal SpA through marketing and selling petroleum coke has also consolidated its presence in several Mediterranean Countries, such as Slovenia, Croatia, Tunisia, Albania and Greece.
Coal
Past experience of cooperation with ENI Group has enabled Unicoal SpA to select coal of the best quality for mineralogical processes. Main sources:
Venezuela, Colombia, USA, Russia.
Sized Coal and Anthracite
The presence of Russian speaking staff with years of experience in acquiring coal and raw materials from countries such as Russia, Ukraine and South Africa has allowed the development of trading of coal for industrial uses and anthracites mainly destined to steel plants in Italy and Mediterannean countries.
Pig Iron
Unicoal imports from Ukraine, Russia and Brasil:

Biomass - Woodchips
The inclination of today’s industry, rightly more and more oriented towards an environmental protection’s policy, has led Unicoal to develop products and service also linked to alternative energies.
In fact in 2016 Unicoal started to import solid biomasses:
